This two-hour, in-person session will take a deep yet non-technical look at how grantmaking processes can be improved and streamlined through easily implementable and cost-effective automation and AI strategies.
This morning session is also catered for breakfast.
Why should I attend?
This session does not presume any technical knowledge for the attendee, and will focus on the below topics with talks and Q&A sessions:
- What is collaborative automation and AI, and how it can enhance the grantmaking process
- Examples of how these tools can be used and implemented by grantmaking organisations
- How automation can fit into the grantmaking process, saving time and supporting teams
- How AI can be used to extract accurate information and interpret it
- Learn how Submittable, a grant management solution, is designing AI tools for administrators and applicants using 5 guiding principles: empowerment, accountability, transparency, equity, and privacy and security
This session will be delivered by Sam Caplan, the VP of Social Impact for Submittable, a partner for Microsoft’s “AI for greater good” initiative.
Who should attend?
This event is free for CFG charity members, and is designed for CFOs, financial directors, heads of grant management or those in similar roles for organisations of grant-making organisations with around £5m or more annual gross income.
